• WE ARE BUT OLD MEN – I couldn't find this story on CNN, CBC or BBC, but Aljazeera is reporting that former Chilean dicatator Augusto Pinochet has been stripped of his immunity and will face charges (30 years too late) relating to his US-backed overthrow of democratically elected president Salvador Allende in 1973. So there's a bit of good news for you. Hopefully Henry Kissinger, who still gets trotted out on CNN as some sort of paragon of the free world will go down with Pinochet's ship.
