Happy Nakba?
Back in 1992, the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Christopher Columbus in the "New World" took place. Some people regarded this as a time for celebration. Others (namely the descendants of the people who were booted off the land and pounded into the ground to make way for the self-described Chosen People) saw it as a day of mourning.
This year, 2008, marks the 60th anniversary of the creation of the state of Israel. Some people regard this as a time for celebration. What am i trying to say? Not much. Who am i anyways? Just another dick living off the teat of plunder really. People just need to stop making up fairy-tales to excuse the past (and present) savagery they benefit from, that's all. It would make the truth a little less pathetic.
