I’d like to say “Happy Chinese New Year” to our good buddy Mai Dian and other Chinese friends of Propagandhi!! I know it’s a day late but I never made it to my computer yesterday.
This is the year of the Pig!! So, how’s about we stop hurting the little fellows, hey World!!
The show in Regina is taking place in the same building where I, along with my good buddies Jamie and Kenton, first saw SNFU, Sacrifice, Beyond Possession, Razor, Doughboys, Govenment Issue, Dayglo, Death Sentence, D.O.A. and many other shows. The spirit of true undadulterated thrashing will pour from the woodwork on March 1st!! My God!!! My Christ!!! haha…

SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES
Well, hi there! For those of you who don’t know, we are playing a few shows here on the prairies in the next few weeks. It’s all laid out real easy-like on the shows page. Of particular interest to our fellow citizens is a Winnipeg show, which once again will be a fundraiser for Sisters in Spirit and Sage House (Sage House is a Winnipeg outreach and health resource centre for sex trade workers. It offers a welcoming and safe environment, meals, laundry, baths, free condoms, needles, health education, and medical care on-site during drop-in hours). On top of all that, it will be a release party for a fundraising cd put out by the Canada-Haiti Action Network which Jordy-Boy has not given me any more info on as of yet! So get your fuckin’ helmets on and prepare thine bang. We hath arrived (again) (as usual).

I would just like to point out that today is Mats Sundin’s 36th birthday and that for some reason this is surprisingly important to me.

Anybody out there ever check out anything by Jean Kilbourne? My old lady’s been bringing films of hers home and i can’t help but thinking Jean would be a pretty funny person to watch an evening of mainstream cable TV with. If you ever get a chance, check out some of her stuff, especially if you’ve somehow forgotten that we are still indeed living in a totally and completely white male supremacist society.
